Privacy Policy

Short version: SnipeSeller does not collect, transmit, sell or share any of your data. Everything it saves stays in your browser on your device.
What SnipeSeller stores
The SnipeSeller Chrome extension saves the following in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device:
- Your settings: home marketplace, fee rates, target margin, promoted-listing rate and daily listing goal.
- Product tests you choose to save: title, eBay and supplier links, prices, costs, sales count, revision log and notes.
- Your routine progress: 90-day plan start date, completed daily tasks, listing counts, milestones and scale-readiness answers.
- Sellers you scanned: summary figures and their top products.
- Supplier products you used: title, price and price history, brand, delivery, rating and product facts.
- The last supplier price you captured, until you use or dismiss it.
- Listing drafts and their photos (stored in your browser's extension storage).
- Your SnipeSeller Pro license key and its status (plan, masked email, last check), if you subscribe. It is never included in backups.
- Your Claude API key, if you add one for the AI listing writer. It is never included in backups.
This data is never sent to us. SnipeSeller has no backend server, no user accounts, no analytics and no tracking. The only time data leaves your device is when you choose to use the AI listing writer, described below.
What SnipeSeller reads
On eBay pages (US, UK, CA, AU, DE, FR, IT, ES) SnipeSeller reads the page you're viewing, such as listing titles, prices, shipping and sold information, so it can show profit figures and rank products. When you press “Scan all pages”, SnipeSeller also loads the other result pages of that same eBay search, directly from eBay in your browser. This all happens locally. Nothing is stored unless you save it, and nothing is sent to us.
On Amazon product pages (US, UK, CA, AU, DE, FR, IT, ES) SnipeSeller reads the product's price, title, brand, feature bullets, specifications and delivery estimate so it can show them in its on-page box. They are saved only when you press “Use as supplier”, or when you press “Scan supplier” in the Listing tab, which loads that one product page from Amazon in your browser.
On other websites SnipeSeller reads nothing unless you explicitly use the right-click menu option “SnipeSeller: capture supplier price from this page” or “use as supplier cost”. It then reads only that page's price, only once, and keeps just the price, page title and URL.
Sending a listing to eBay
When you press “Send to eBay”, SnipeSeller fills eBay's own listing pages in your browser with your listing's title, item specifics, description, price, quantity and photos. You review and publish the listing yourself; SnipeSeller never submits it.
SnipeSeller Pro subscriptions
SnipeSeller Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you subscribe, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing address and payment details and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive your order and subscription details from Lemon Squeezy to provide support and handle refunds.
When you activate a license key, and about twice a day afterwards, SnipeSeller sends the key and a device label (for example "SnipeSeller Windows 2026-09-27") to Lemon Squeezy's license API to check that the subscription is active. Nothing else is sent.
AI listing writer (optional)
If you add your own Claude API key and press “Write listing with AI”, SnipeSeller sends that product's title, keywords, your notes and the product facts described above directly from your browser to Anthropic's API, using your key. Nothing else is sent: not your tests, sellers, profit figures or photos. Anthropic processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy. Photo editing in the Listing tab happens entirely on your device.
Permissions and why they're needed

Your control
In SnipeSeller's Settings tab you can export all of your data as a JSON file, import a backup, or delete everything. Uninstalling the extension also removes all of its stored data.
This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of the request.
Children
SnipeSeller is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. It collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date above. We will never start collecting data without clearly asking you first.
